1.Introduction

 

Closed cooling tower is a kind of closed cooler, which is used in manufacturing industry. The equipment that needs water for cooling is very common. The traditional water cooling method consumes a lot of water, and the maintenance cost of operating and using equipment is high. The working fluid of the cooling tower circulates in a closed way, and a circular tube with high heat exchange efficiency is used as a heat conductor to exchange heat through air. The remarkable characteristics of using closed cooling tower are stable circulating water quality, high heat exchange efficiency and low operating cost.

 

2.Working principle

 

The rapid evaporation of water film on the outer surface of the tube is mainly relied on to strengthen the heat transfer outside the tube, so as to achieve the purpose of softening water in the cooling tube. This is mainly because water has a high latent heat of vaporization (the latent heat of vaporization of water at one atmosphere is 570kal/kg), which greatly improves the overall heat transfer efficiency. When the equipment is running, the evaporation of the water film on the outer surface of the pipe makes the humidity of the air greatly increase after passing through the tube bundle, which is close to saturation. The axial flow fan draws the wet air away and makes it pass through the mist compensator located above the water spraying system, and removes the water droplets entrained in the wet air and then discharges it into the atmosphere from the air inlet. Because the axial flow fan is located at the upper part of the equipment, a negative pressure area is formed at the lower part of the axial flow fan when air is sucked upward, which accelerates the evaporation of water film on the outer surface of the pipe, so the heat transfer outside the pipe is strengthened.
