The cooling tower fan nozzle optimizes heat exchange through ​hydraulic dynamics and fluid dispersion:


​Tangential Pressure Input:


Pressurized water enters the volute-shaped nozzle cavity tangentially (e.g., gravity splash type), generating rotational vortices. The flow separates into axial and four helical streams via internal channels.


​Rotational Atomization:


Water collides violently in the mixing section, forming an umbrella-shaped spray that impacts splash bars and breaks into 50-200μm droplets. This process maximizes air-water contact for accelerated evaporation.


​Uniform Distribution:


Atomized droplets evenly coat the fill media, forming thin films for efficient heat transfer with fan-induced air, improving cooling efficiency by 15-20%.
